US President Donald Trump has extended an invitation to BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and two other senior leaders of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) to attend the US National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, DC.
The additional invitees include BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the party’s Foreign Affairs Advisory Committee.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir received the official invitation on Friday, January 10, as confirmed by Shayrul Kabir Khan, a member of the BNP Media Cell, on Saturday, January 11.
Shayrul further stated that the National Prayer Breakfast is scheduled to occur from February 5 to 6 in Washington, DC.
This annual event gathers political, business, and religious leaders from around the globe to engage in discussions and prayers centered on promoting global peace and unity.
